Since June this year I cannot download Google Street (and Satellite) maps. Does anybody has the same problem? Google restrictions?

I have an N810 with Diablo in it.

I have not been able to get my internal GPS working with it. I have not tried the "start maps and after the signal, start MMaps and quit maps"

What gives with Maemo Mapper not working with the internal GPS of the N810? Why doesn't it, and why hasn't someone fixed the software, or created a software fix for it. Seems stupid to have to run Map in order to get Maemo Mapper to work..

Don't you just have to have GPSD running in order for it to find the gps? Seems there should be a way to make that run without starting the builtin Map app.

Wake-up and Smell the Coffee...

@reefdiver I have not heard any news on the wayfinder update ... it was working in my prototype... but I see the same coming soon as you on the N800 with OS2008. Perhaps when the OS is officially released, not just as beta.

I have not had that problem but can say that an external GPS acquires the signal far more quickly than the internal.
